More and more people believe that sitting is bad for us. Scientists seem to agree that standing is better for many aspects of our health, such as heart, brain, and muscle health.

Schools are taking this on board also. Maybe your school already encourages you to stand while you are working or move about a lot.

Some technologists are creating products such as cardboard standing desks to help address the issue.
