Cyber Skills Aotearoa - Information Privacy and Security course available now

Grok Academy and CORE Education have created Cyber Skills Aotearoa, a programme to develop cyber security skills and dispositions in ākonga in Years 6-13.
Cyber Skills Aotearoa consists of classroom-ready activities and challenges that could be used within Hangarau Matihiko | Digital Technologies programmes and to raise awareness of cyber security careers.
The first course from the Cyber Skills Aotearoa programme, Information Privacy and Security, is out now.
The Information Privacy and Security course covers:
- purposeful sharing
- password security
- password reuse and multi-factor authentication (MFA)
- phishing and scams
- careers in cyber security.
The course is free for Years 9-13, and is available in both English and te reo Māori.
